Sausage and Peppers
6 links of Italian Sausage
3 Bell Peppers, seeded and sliced in 1” strips
1 Large Onion, sliced in 1’ strips
1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
6 pieces of Italian Bread
Heat olive oil over medium-high heat in frying pan. Add sausage and cook approximately 10 minutes, turn and cook another 10 minutes, until internal temperature is 160 degrees.
Remove sausage. Lower heat to medium, add the peppers and cook for 5 minutes. Add the onion and cook another 10 minutes. If mixture is drying out during cooking add an ounce or two of water. Add salt and pepper to taste. Return sausage to the pan and heat thoroughly with pepper mixture. Serve on the Italian bread. Serves 6
