Bananas Foster

2 Bananas, sliced on the bias
¼ stick of butter
½ cup of brown sugar
2ounces of dark rum
1 pint of premium vanilla ice cream

Over medium heat, melt butter in sauté pan then add brown sugar. Stirring until sugar dissolves. Stir in bananas and stir gently for 1-2 minutes until bananas slightly soften. Add in rum, tilt pan and carefully ignite. When flames subside serve bananas and warm sauce over vanilla ice cream. Spank each bowl with a bit of confectioners’ sugar.
